The Kingsway Centre

The Kingsway Centre is owned by Swansea College and is situated on the Kingsway in Swansea. Click here to view a map to the centre

The Dynevor Centre

The Dynevor Centre is on Dynevor Place just off the Kingsway in Swansea. Click here to view a map to the centre.

The centre is run by Swansea Council’s Lifelong Learning Service. They offer various computer courses ranging from digital photography to basic PC skills. The computer suite comprises of 12 computers offering internet access and printing services.

Courses range from computers for absolute beginners to workshops for PC applications such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint. For more information please call the Dynevor Centre on 01792 648081.

 


Swansea Metropolitan University

Swansea Metropolitan University (formerly Swansea Institute of Higher Education) has a building called Dynevor Centre for Arts Design & Media which is situated on De La Beche Street in the centre of Swansea. Click here to view a map to the University

Swansea Central Library

The new Swansea Central Library is situated in the Swansea Civic Centre (formerly Swansea County Hall).Click here to view a map to the Library

The Library has 70 computers spread over 2 floors offering internet access and printing services. You have to have a Library card to access the computers however these are free and can be used in any Library in Swansea.

The CADcentre

The CADcentre is an approved government training centre specialising in IT training. The Swansea centre is situated in Clipper House on Quay Parade. Click here to view a map to the centre

The Environment Centre

The Environment Centre is on Pier Street in Swansea. Click here for a map to the centre

There is now one PC available for use by members of the public. It can only be used for environmental related research. There is FREE internet access. If you want further info, please speak to Jenny Edwards, Assistant Manager of the Centre.

Castle Ward Hot Seat

The Hot Seat is in the Castle Community First Partnership Offices on St Helen's Road. Click here for a map to the hot seat

The hot desk is the first of its kind in the city and includes telephones, printers, fax equipment and six computers with email capability and internet access.
